BAM! I have to remember to keep my camera near the kitchen because iPhone pictures don't do this justice. I used canned diced tomatoes and not fresh romas, just make sure they are drained really well.
Now I will admit that I was in a hurry to get this done, due to a certain 3 year old running a muck and I left out 2 parts of the recipe. 1 - I forgot that garlic, leaving this dish a bit bland in my book, it tasted like salt and pepper on tomatoes. 2 - I forgot the flour, so it was a tad runny. All things that can be fixed next time.
Everyone loved this dinner and my Mom said she would make it again (she doesn't know about the stuff that was accidentally left out). Served over pasta is was quite tasty, artichokes are SALTY when canned in case you didn't know. Fresh basil on this made my day, I LOVE the smell of basil, is there such a thing as a basil scented candle? YUM!
Overall very nice dinner and I'm sure it would be even better if you actually read the recipe!! I will be making this one again.

And here is an excellent example of why I am including original links. The site where is pink came from linked you back to the original website, so you went from pinterest to site x to site y where the recipe actually was. I'm glad I emailed her and asked for the recipe because I was able to google her email address and find her blog again. I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due.
